TASI-Cassel unite to expand Packaging Integrity segment footprint

TASI Group, a provider of test, measurement, inspection, and assembly, has recently announced the acquisition of Cassel Messtechnik GmbH. TASI and Cassel are customer-service companies that deliver word-class solutions and services to bring about value-added results.

TASI’s strategic alliance with Cassel, an industry leader in the design of metal detection, checkweigher, and X-ray inspection systems, was significantly formed to expand TASI’s Packaging Integrity segment, which includes Sepha, Bonfiglioli Engineering, and ALPS Inspection, globally. By deploying X-ray technology of Cassel, the company will upgrade its business offerings and provide package integrity inspection to ensure the delivery of highest quality services to customers in product manufacturing.

As per John McKenna, TASI’s CEO, the business collaboration and partnership with Cassel align with the company’s strategy to build highest standard of excellence in the Packaging Integrity segment with enhanced adjacent technologies.

Founded in 1994, Cassel, a leader in construction and design of various services for industrial applications, has an employee base of nearly 60, with its production facilities located near Hannover, Germany. Its product quality inspection systems protect production machines and testing equipment against damages. It strives to supply high performance and quality services as well as add value to customers.

TASI will join forces with the team of 60 colleagues from Cassel and strengthen innovative service portfolio across key markets.

According to Cord Cassel, the managing director and founder of Cassel, the company has earned a long-standing reputation and been continuously focusing on investing in innovative technologies, partnerships, and expansions in new business areas. Mr. Cassel believed the alliance with TASI will reinforce the company’s position to expand in key industries, such as pharmaceutical, building materials, food and beverage, and personal care markets.

TASI’s President of Packaging Integrity, Kris Fairfield, anticipates the realization of many synergistic benefits between the two companies. Mr. Fairfield further added the partnership will combine two businesses’ capabilities to serve global customers, enabling them to better cater to their end users with the expanded solutions.
