Accenture to expedite Brandix’s journey to get operations future-ready

Accenture Plc, a multinational professional services company incorporated in Dublin, Ireland has reportedly signed a collaboration agreement to support Brandix, the top apparel producer in Sri Lanka, to transform its supply chain, manufacturing, human resources, and finance operations to set up the platform for its digital future.
According to the agreement, Accenture will assist Brandix in building innovative solutions that completely focus on productivity improvement, internet of things, data-driven analytics, and process excellence - all while providing end-to-end integrated solutions.
The Chief Executive Officer of Brandix’s Group, Ashroff Omar stated that he was confident that this partnership would assist Brandix in reaching greater level of growth across Sri Lanka as well as the globe. Omar further added that this tie up aligns with the company’s overall strategic decision of developing apparel ecosystem and future ready, global organization for the upcoming digital era.
The Group Operating Officer for Accenture Operations, Manish Sharma stated that the company looks forward to continuing its ongoing partnership with Brandix, which had started in 2013; to transform Brandix’s processes by leveraging Accenture’s global expertise in analytics, data science, strategy, operations, and consulting. The collaboration would work towards enhancing company’s bottom line savings and top line growth in the coming six years.
Geographic unit and country senior managing director for Accenture in India, Anindya Basu stated that the retail sector is being redefined across the world by transformative business models, digital technologies, and customer expectations. To develop value in this immensely competitive system, apparel producers need to incorporate technology-backed innovation in the company’s core process and at the edges of systems.
According to reports, financial details relating to the collaboration agreement have not been unveiled yet.
