Jetex announces North Africa’s first VIP terminal launch at Marrakech

Jetex, a Dubai-based general aviation trip support company, has recently announced the inauguration of a new VIP terminal at Morocco’s Marrakech Menara Airport. This flagship Jetex VIP Terminal, the first of its kind in Marrakech, represents a world-class offering to the Moroccan aviation industry, and brings the company’s total footprint in Africa to 16 locations, including 6 FBOs.

Jetex’s VIP terminal was built across an area of 1,000 square meters, to offer exceptional travel experience and confidential feel to customers. It was furnished by using Zaha Hadid’s designer pieces, and also features 25,000 m² of aircraft parking. The terminal, which remains open 24/7, offers convenience and efficiency in an exclusive environment, in line with Jetex’s commitment to deliver tailor-made services to the highest standards.

As an approach to suit the most discerning travelers, Jetex has, since 2009, transformed FBO concepts to bring 24-hour luxury travel experiences and utmost convenience to private jet travelers.

The company was initially established as an FBO at Morocco in 2016. Since then, the company has been offering unique Jetex aviation services in different cities of Morocco, which include Casablanca, Rabat, and Agadir.

Nearly 10,000 private jet movements have been observed in Morocco each year, which has made it a prominent aviation market in Africa.
Jetex’s founder and CEO, Mr. Adel Mardini, has positively talked about the recent introduction of VIP terminal in Marrakech, by stating it as an innovative approach towards growth in Africa’s private aviation landscape. He further expressed his appreciation regarding the support the company has received from Morocco’s Government while establishing its first ever VIP terminal in North Africa, which will aid in meeting the market’s increasing needs.

A gala reception was organized by the company to celebrate the momentous event, with the presence of prominent figures, including the Moroccan authorities.
