JioBusiness has reportedly launched an integrated service for small, medium as well as micro businesses. This service is aimed at offering enterprise-level digital solutions and fiber connectivity.
This plan for micro, small and medium businesses (MSMBs) is based on three crucial pillars, digital solutions helping enterprises in managing and growing their businesses, devices enabling the MSMBs access to state-of-the-art digital solutions and enterprise level fiber connectivity that provides data and voice services.
The company, a subsidiary of telecom giant reliance Jio, has apparently claimed that the prices for these digital solutions and connectivity will be starting from Rs. 901 onwards, which would be around one-tenth of the current market price. It further added that the company would provide collaboration opportunities to partners to offer digital solutions without any additional costs.
Akash Ambani, Jio Director, has apparently expressed that MSMBs are unable to utilize these powerful digital technologies to efficiently run their businesses, due to the absence of a well-built digital infrastructure and technical knowhow. But now, JioBusiness will help in bridging that gap and offer these services at reasonable costs.
At present, a MSMB spends around Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 on a monthly basis towards productivity, automation tools and connectivity, as claimed by Ambani. He further added that the company is taking the initiative of empowering small-scale businesses by offering these solutions coupled with their connectivity, for around one-tenth of the current market cost.
Ambani also reportedly stated that he is confident about millions of MSMB enterprises marching towards the path of a “Atmanirbhar Digital India”.
The company has claimed that subscribers will be offered specialized digital advisors who will provide guidance to businesses in selecting the right set of solutions and plans, adoption and on-boarding of digital solutions. It further added that these SMBs will be offered a ‘digital self-care portal’ to view performance dashboards, change plans, make payments and claim other such benefits.
