Haier, one of the world’s leading appliance brands will reportedly be launching a first all-scenario Smart Home Solution. The “Solution” as it is being called, will be unveiled at the Appliances and Electronics World Expo which will be held in Shanghai, China in 2018.

Designed on the 4+7+N concept, the Solution will enable the entire household to be connected in one system. Apparently, 4 represents the living scenarios that include a smart living room, smart bathroom, smart kitchen and smart bedroom. 7 will be representing the comprehensive solutions for water, air, security, clothes care, voice control, information and health. N on the other hand, will be representing the variable that will enable users to customize the experience to suit their needs and receive the best smart home experience.

Wang Ye, Vice President of Haier Home Industry Group reportedly stated that in the IoT era, Haier Smart Home will bring convenience, safety and comfort to consumers in this one all-scenario solution. The Solution will help Haier to transition from a traditional manufacturer to an entrepreneurial platform to integrate social features that can act as an interface between businesses.

Haier will apparently employ COSMOPlat, a large scale customizable solution platform to manufacture its smart home appliances. COSMOPlat integrates global resources, customizes living scenarios, cross-validates with users to attain all-round interactive regulation of household appliances, centralizes information in one hub and individualizes function intelligently.

Dr. Zhao Feng, Vice President of Haier Home Industry Group demonstrated the system with the instance of the water solution. Reportedly, users will not need different products after they install the Solution but will be able to avail a water softener system and pipeline water dispenser. The system will intelligently alert users for filter change, manage the household water usage and monitor water quality.

Incidentally, The Solution will apply similar concepts to maintain an overall smart household with advanced data support. It is designed to pay attention to every small detail for the user’s convenience like air flow regulation and recipe recommendation.
